Tech Company Under Constant Change

Resolving execution blockages to restore performance under uncertainty

The problem:

A global tech company was experiencing frequent leadership turnover (five changes), a 60% restructure, and a failed acquisition — and it was showing. Performance stalled, teams lost momentum, and morale slipped because decisions were repeatedly deferred upward or reset as the organisation changed.

What was unresolved:

Resolved system-level blockages in decision-making and ownership so teams could move work forward despite ongoing change.

How we helped:

We co-designed a Resolution Sprint framework (originally the Innovation Lab) to surface where work slowed, align decision ownership, and embed learning loops that prevented recurring hesitation. Instead of relying on single initiatives, teams were enabled to test, learn, adapt within day-to-day execution — and learn to resolve problems rather than defer them.

The outcome:

  • Maintained operations through a major restructure

  • Revenue shifted from 15% below target to 15% above

  • Development velocity improved ~30% in nine months

  • First measurable shifts in 30 days

  • Employee engagement rose +25% despite turnover

Why this matters:

This wasn't a culture "wish list." It was systemic resolution: untangling recurring blockages so organisational performance could actually improve under uncertainty.
